Tablet Connect Program

The pandemic has drastically altered service delivery methods, making digital access more important than ever. One of the biggest barriers that individuals experiencing homelessness face is lack of access to a device or broadband internet. Our Tablet Connect Program (TCP) addresses this challenge by providing eligible clients with tablets.

Why Tablets

Research has shown that many unstably housed Americans are forced to rely on smartphones and mobile data for tasks that usually require a larger screen such as a tablet, laptop, or desktop computer. This significantly hinders their ability to:

Connect with service providers
Access & sharing information
Job Search & gain Employment
Join CWYS or connect with a MESA
Communicate with support networks &/or family
Access Healthcare services
